Following two years of freelance Curatorial work, Eloise Dunwell will be producing her first solo exhibition at Centrespace, chronicling her work for the last ten years. The show will feature performative works, film, inkworks, collage, 2D paintings, sculptures, designs, collections and “cabinets of curiosity”.
Taking a specific interest in death, the subconscious, the un-mapped and un-spoken-about, Eloise’s work can be at times abstract, dream-like and surreal.
There will be a wide variety of stages of her practice
on show, including the watercolour-inspired pieces from her Steiner School days, through to still life collections at Foundation level, and on to larger-than-life abstract pieces made in Bristol.
We are hoping to produce a programme of events over the exhibition; including performance dancing, spoken word, musical acts and talks on ecology - so stay tuned!
Open at Centrespace Bristol 10am - 5pm from the 18th till the 30th of October.
