Homegrown Shorts is a short film cinema night, run at our local cinema The Curzon Cinema and Arts. We've been running it since 2017. The intention is to give a leg-up to "Homegrown" film-makers, who may not necessarily get accepted to other film festivals. This gives them the opportunity to see their labour of love up on the big screen. Our community has certainly grown over the last five years - and it's wonderful to see what the South West is producing in terms of budding film makers!
The Curzon has been fantastic in lending the use of their cinema.
Due to a change in location, I will no longer be Curating at Homegrown Shorts.
